Special Features
This application required us to drive stainless steel
square tubes deep into the sand dunes for support of
the track system. We manufactured the track system
out of 304 stainless steel, and installed the winding
drum drive system about 15 feet from the edge of the
hillside to compensate for the shifting sands of the
dunes. We poured a 5-foot wide by 5-foot long by 5-foot
deep concrete anchor point for our machinery location.
This lift has been fully inspected and checked off
by the State of Massachusetts Elevator Code and Safety
Division. It has a 750 pound capacity, and the track
incline varies from 25° to 34° over the course
of 110 feet.
